Moin Syed, Ph.D. 2009, University of California, Santa Cruz) is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Minnesota.
He was trained as a developmental psychologist, but has a primary appointment in the Counseling Psychology program and secondary affiliation in the Personality, Individual Differences, and Behavioral Genetics program. He is also affiliated with the Asian American Studies program, the Mixed Methods Interdisciplinary Graduate Group, the Prevention Science doctoral minor, and the Center for the Study of the Individual and Society. He is on the executive committees of the Society for Research on Identity Formation and the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood, and is currently serving as Associate Editor of Emerging Adulthood.
